2. Hosting and server log files
This website is intended to be hosted in Germany. The current MEALDROP web infrastructure uses ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. When you access the website, the hosting infrastructure may automatically process technical data required to deliver and secure the website.
This may include IP address, date and time of access, requested URL, referrer URL, browser and operating-system information, and technical status information. Processing is based on our legitimate interest in providing a secure, stable and technically functional website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Some visual assets on this version of MEALDROP World are delivered from our German domain mealdrop.de, which is operated by the same controller. Requests for those assets may therefore also appear in the server logs of that domain.
3. Cookies, analytics and tracking
The version of mealdropworld.com provided with this website package does not use web analytics, advertising pixels, behavioural tracking or non-essential cookies. The contact form also does not require a user account or marketing cookie.
If we later add technologies that store information on or access information from your device and require consent, we will provide the necessary information and obtain consent where required before those technologies are activated.
4. Contact form and email enquiries
If you contact us through the contact form or by email, we process the information you provide in order to read, assign and respond to your enquiry. The form asks for your name, email address, an optional company name and your message.
Where your enquiry relates to possible cooperation, partnership or another contractual relationship, processing may be based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract). For general enquiries, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to respond to enquiries and maintain business communications.
The message is sent to contact@mealdropworld.com. Hosting and email infrastructure providers may process technical data on our behalf where necessary to transmit and store the message.
5. External links
This website links to other websites, including mealdrop.de. When you follow an external link, the privacy rules and technical processing of the destination website apply. We are not responsible for data processing by independent third-party websites.
6. Storage period
Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Contact enquiries are generally kept until the matter has been resolved. Data may be retained for longer where this is necessary for an ongoing business relationship, the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, or compliance with statutory retention obligations.
7. Your rights
Where the GDPR applies, you may have the right to request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and, where applicable, to object to processing. If processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent for the future at any time.
To exercise your rights, contact contact@mealdropworld.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection supervisory authority. For our establishment in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, the competent authority is generally the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW).
8. International visitors and data transfers
MEALDROP World is accessible internationally. The website is operated from Germany. We do not intentionally use this website package to transfer visitor data to advertising or analytics providers outside the European Economic Area. If future service providers require international transfers, we will update this policy and use the safeguards required by applicable law.
9. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access and unlawful processing. Website security can nevertheless never be guaranteed absolutely.
10. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the website, its technical services or legal requirements change. The version published on this page is the current version.
